Fried Donuts

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 57 grams melted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 450 all-purpose flour
  • 60 grams sugar
Prepare the yeast mixture by adding the first 3 ingredients and let it proof for 15 minutes. It will look bubbly or foamy.

Mix the yeast with the rest of the ingredients and form a ball.

Let it rise for 2 hours until double in size. Then form a small ball and carefully slide it into the frying pan. The pan should be medium low heat. When one side is already brown, turn the donuts and fry the other side.

Remove from heat and let it cool on a paper towel to soak up the excess oil. Then, coat it with sugar.

YUMMY! Enjoy!
