How to make a Nether Portal in Minecraft

Today, we are going to build a nether portal in minecraft.

Nether portals let you go to the Nether where you can collect

many potion ingredients. 

1:The first step is to collect some obsidian blocks. To make

obsidian, put some water on top of lava and a purple 

block will appear. You can only mine obsidian with a 

diamond pickaxe. you will need 14 obsidian blocks.

                                 

                                     2:The second step is to get some flint and steel. To make
                                        flint and steel, you have to have a bar of iron and flint.
                                        Be careful with flint and steel as it can set things on fire.

                                       3. Then make a frame of 5 x 4 with the obsidian.

                                        4:Get out your flint and steel (please be careful) and
                                        light the portal. If you did it right, the portal will have a
                                        purple glow in the middle as shown above.
